I drove from a freeway on-ramp near the San Carlos, California Airport to the off-ramp of a different highway in Mountain View, a distance of about 20 miles, without steering, braking, touching the turn indicator, or pressing the accelerator. It was my first test of Tesla’s just updated Autopilot software which no longer requires driver verification before it changes lanes, transitions to a different highway or takes an exit. MORE
