Late Tuesday night Amazon announced a pair of new Kindle Fire HDX tablets with one incredibly useful feature and another one that’s useful, but maybe not incredibly so.
What excites me is that Prime Instant video and TV shows can be downloaded to the new tablets so you can watch them offline. Prime is the $79 a year service that gets you free 2-day shipping on items shipped by Amazon and unlimited access to thousands of TV shows and movies. Prime’s selection isn’t as big as Netflix but it’s growing and there’s plenty to watch (more)
