iPhone 8 features according to rumors

We won’t know what the new iPhones look like till Apple introduces them on September 12th, but with the help of MacRumors, Forbes, CNET and other sources, here are some of the rumored features that with might see:

  • One model could have a 5.8 inch display
  • Faster A11 processor
  • Glass body
  • Edge-to-edge display. A phone the size of 4.7 could have a screen the size of 5.5 inch iPhone
  • Facial Recognition using a 3-D sensor, perhaps replacing Touch ID
  • No Home button
    • Possibly a new way to navigate with a soft bar on bottom that you flick up to open the phone
  • No top and bottom bezels
  • Wireless charging
  • Three models – One OLED, possibly a flexible plastic OLED – thinner and less power
  • Likely very expensive — possibly as much as $1,200.

Fast Company predicts that the “new phone will look something like a smooth black monolith, with few visual interruptions to its sleek design.”
