On Wednesday, Google launched its new $9.99 a month YouTube Red service that allows you to watch ad-free videos, download videos to mobile devices and play videos and music in the background even as you use other apps. But the deal sweetener that got my attention is that it comes with a free subscription to Google Play Music, which — in itself — would otherwise cost $9.99 a month.
